A Cardiologist working with the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH), Dr Crystal Akpan is reported to have committed suicide.
Channels reports that the young medical doctor took his life by ingesting a chemical substance suspected to be Sniper while working at his shift in the hospital.
The reason for the action is not yet known but unconfirmed reports say he may have taken his life after failing his professional exams for residents.
He is alleged t have written the exam for many years without success.
The late Cardiologist who worked in the Cardiology Department of the hospital was married with 3 children.
