University of Lagos authorities today, dismissed the two lecturers indicted in a sex scandal that made the headlines two years ago.
The lecturers were caught on camera demanding sex from undercover students in exchange for good grades. The investigation and report was published by the BBCEye and anchored by Kiki Mordi.
The eye-opening publication attracted widespread attention with many calling for justice. It also got many other victims of sex-in-exchange-or-grades speaking up, a development that cut across many universities in Nigeria and Ghana.

The indicted UNILAG lecturers include Dr Boniface Igbeneghu of the Department of European Languages and Integration Studies and Dr Samuel Omoniyi Oladapo of the Department of Economics, Faculty of Social Science.
One of the undercover investigative reporters was Kiki Mordi who posed as a minor seeking admission into the university.
In a communique officially published Wednesday by the Governing Council of the University and dated May 31st, their dismissal took effect from the 31st of May.
