A few days after the gruesome killing of a military couple in Imo state, ‘Unknown Gunmen’ carried out a parade in the popular Ariaria market in Aba, Abia state on Wednesday.
Eyewitness reports and footage from the scene reveal that the ‘gunmen’ all clad in black attires brandished different weapons and marched amidst cheers from traders in market.
Traders add that no one was harassed neither were there gunshots in spite of the sophisticated weapons they carried.
It is alleged that during the display, they also declared a compulsory ‘sit-at-home’ for the 5th and 6th of May 2022 to boycott President Muhammadu Buhari’s state visit to Ebonyi State.
