The Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma has approved the appointment of Paschal Okechukwu better known as Cubana Chief Priest as one of his aides.
Reports say the Governor appointed the Chief Priest as his Special Adviser on Social Media Influence in a letter dated today, Friday, January 14.
Politics Nigeria said the the letter was signed by the Secretary to the State Government< Chief Cosmas Iwu.
The appoint takes effect from the 10th of January, 2022.
The letter reads in part: “His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, Governor of Imo State, has approved your appointment as Special Adviser to Governor on Social Media Influence.”
“This appointment is with effect from 10″ January 2022,” the letter reads.
Meanwhile, cubana_chiefpriest took to his social media pages to announce the appointment.

In another development, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) yesterday, 13th of January interrogated popular socialite and Chairman, Cubana Group of Companies, Obi Iyiegbu.
Reports say that the billionaire businessman was grilled over his links to an illegal narcotic business.
Iyiegbu is said to have been grilled for not less than 5 hours at the Abuja headquarters of the NDLEA but was later released on bail.
The interrogation is alleged to be linked to suspicious payments made into Cubana’s account by 3 convicted drug dealers from Malaysia, India and Nigeria.
