Popular social media critic, Martins Vincent Otse popularly known as VeryDarkMan has raised over n36 million to fund His ngo’s project of reviving the public schools in Nigeria.
He gave the update via his official social media platforms where he also appreciated the donors who contributed to the cause.
The social media influencer acknowledged various donations, including ₦500, ₦200, and ₦100, from individuals who wished to give more but could not due to financial constraints.
Martin’s noted that the donations also included N100 and N200 and major donations of ₦2 million and ₦1 million who provided substantial backing for the NGO’s initiatives.
However, VeryDarkMan also addressed concerns about corruption within some NGOs, vowing to expose organizations misusing donations for personal gain.
The total donation amount stands at well over ₦36 million and counting, a testament to the generosity of supporters.
VeryDarkMan’s NGO vows to utilize the funds to improve public education infrastructure, provide educational resources and materials, and support teacher training and development.
He stated that with the way the donations are pouring in, it is obvious that most people cash out with public donations considering that the NGOs lack transparency and are not accountable to anybody.
