Nigeria’s veteran journalist and broadcasters, Isa Abba Adamu is dead.
His brother, Malam Yusha’u A Ibrahim said he died in London on Sunday, after a brief illness
Ibrahim said the deceased would be buried in London according to Muslim injuctions.
The late broadcaster was born in 1961. He graduated from Bayero University in 1985 and worked with the Kano State Television CTV 67 before joining BBC Hausa Service.
He rose through the ranks at BBC where he served as producer and later editor of the Hausa Service. He became the Executive Editor of BBC Africa before leaving the job of broadcasting.
On quitting the BBC, late Adamu joined the Legislative Institute of Abuja where he served as Director. He later resigned and returned to London.
He was later appointed board members of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) by PresidentMuhammadu Buhari.
Aged 60, Isa Abba Adamu left behind , 1 wife and 4 children.
