A video of the moment newly crowned King Charles III expressed anger and impatience with a leaky pen while signing an official document has gone viral.

It is not certain how the royal protocol allowed the glitch but it certainly got the monarch upset.

He was filmed getting visibly frustrated over an uncooperative pen during a book signing in Northern Ireland yesterday, September 13.

I can’t bear this bloody thing,” Charles can be heard saying, before passing the disgraced writing utensil to his wife Camilla, Queen Consort. “Every stinking time,” he adds, pulling a handkerchief out of his pocket to wipe his hands. A video of the moment posted by CBS news already has 14 million views.

In contrast to her husband, Camilla remained calm, cool, and collected, even as she uttered, “It’s going everywhere.” Luckily, staff in black suits were able to intervene and retrieve the offending pen before more ink was spilled.
