The moment President of South Sudan, Salva Kiir Mayardit urinated on himself, wetting his pants and the the floor during a public function has sparked mixed reactions online.
Salva Kiir Mayardit has been the president of the East African country since its independence on 9 July 2011.
During the public function, while the national anthem was ongoing, the president peed on himself to the shock of on-lookers.
He noticed the embarrassing incontinence but could not remedy the situation as it was in full public glare.
The elderly Salva Kiir Mayardit only looked down to confirm what felt but carried on with the state event, regardless.
The military officers who stood beside him were too stunned to speak.
Reactions:
zhi_amaka: “Omo!!!!!! See embarrassment!! All these old men holding on to power by fire by force. Leave power, go and rest, dem say NO.”
chuka_uzo: “And you wonder why things aren’t going well in South Sudan.”
mz_bellar: “It’s always African leaders.”
JJ Kiddu“In a corruption infested country you can not rule out someone buying poor quality pampers. I believe this was the case!”
AmaraWaKariisa: “Aren’t the guards supposed to guard the bladder as well! Indeed they should be fired.”
@katompanga30: “No. This is personal, no human can be held responsible for organ function/failure in a fellow being. Only Kiir’s doctor can guide him in this regard. Possible Kiir ignored dr’s advice! Point is guards roles are limited, they aren’t supermen, sir!”
