Stories from the heart

An accomplished accountant, serial entrepreneur and Senior Pastor of Trinity House, Ituah Ighodalo has said he still speaks to his late wife, Ibidunni Ighodalo 3 years after her death.

Ibidunni died of cardiac arrest at the young age of 39, a few days to her 40th birthday, in a hotel room in Port Harcourt.

She passed away while in the city, in the tick of the Covid-19 pandemic. Ibidunni had gone to set up the treatment centre for patients suffering from the disease.

Her assignment in Port Harcourt was one of the very many she had done across the country.

Speaking with media mogul, Chude Jideonwo on his bond with his late wife while she was alive, the clergyman stated that his connection with gorgeous lady is evergreen.

Speaking on eve of her remembrance, Ituah said that they still have discussions and he hears her speak.

He said, “We still converse, we talk, I hear her, she speaks to me”.

Speaking on their relationship, he said, “We had a good relationship, we understood one another, we loved one another, we were friends”.

Ituah also spoke on the crash of his former church, Christ church.

He said: “Quite frankly I genuinely love people, I love to see people succeed, I love to see people excel. I will go to the gutters to be with my people just to make sure everybody is okay.

“Christ Church was everything to me because I saw my vision, my dreams, my everything in Christ church. It was very heartbreaking for me”.
