Nigeria’s former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has revealed what a 2023 Igbo President will do Nigeria.
The 85-year-old stated that a President of Igbo extraction will bring unity to the country.
Obasanjo made his thought known when he received a 2023 Presidential aspirant, Mao Ohuabunwa on Thursday in Abeokuta.
He emphasised that it is time for reconciliation in Nigeria and this could be achieved by supporting a presidential candidate from the South East region of the country.
According to him: “Beyond bringing unity to Nigeria or being the cement that holds Nigeria together, I believe that Southeasterners can model hard work and entrepreneurship.
“This will help in wealth creation and fight against poverty, which is ravaging Nigeria.”
He however, advised Ohuabunwa that running for president is not an easy job.
