The recently crowned Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwase III was born in Warri on the 2nd of April, 1984 to the late Godwin Toriseju Emiko, the 20th Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwase II and Gladys Durorike Emiko.
Growing up, young Tsola Emiko attended the NNPCE Primary School in Warri for his primary education and Adesoye College, Offa, Kwara State for his secondary education between 1995 and 2001.
He then proceeded to to Case Western University, Cleveland, Ohio, the United States of America from 2002 to 2006, where he bagged a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies and Political Science.with a minor in History and Economics.
In 2007, Tsola obtained a Master of Science degree in Management from the same University.
The Uwangue of Warri, Chief Gabriel Awala, crowned Ogiame Atuwase III as the 21st Olu of Warri in a ceremony held on the 21st of August, 2021.
Gowing up, Tsola was a sports lover, having participated in different sports including swimming, Kayaks, basketball, soccer and American football.
On his return to Nigeria in 2008, he did his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) scheme at the Public Affairs Department of NNPC.
He then proceeded to work as an officer at the Shell Nigeria Closed Pension Fund Administrator and later, Sahara Energy as Government Relations Officer between 2010 and 2012.
Tsola ventured into entrepreneurship and founded Noble Nigeria Limited and Coral Curator Limited.
He is the Chairman of Ocean Marin Security Limited and Director in Gulf Guinea Limited, Vessel Link Big Limited among others.
A 1st class traditional ruler, the new Olu of Warri is married to Ivie Uhunoma Emiko, daughter of Edo billionaire business mogul, Idahosa Okunbo who died a fortnight ago in the UK.
The monarch and his wife are blessed with 3 children.
The city of Warri is one of the major hubs of petroleum activities and businesses in southern Nigeria
