Who is ERICA ?

Entertainment

Questions have been asked about who Erica is especially as she is not a regular in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.

Erica Nlewedim is a 26-year old actress, model and entrepreneur. She is currently one of the most viewed housemates in the ongoing BBnaija Lockdown reality TV show.

She is one character who is not scared of letting out her emotions anytime. According to her, she attracts drama everywhere she goes. Indeed drama trails her everywhere and that has pretty much been the case at the Big Brother Naija House.

Noticeable attributes:

Bravery has also been her hallmark as she has been seen confronting head-on, housemates who get in her way, including Wathoni, Lucy, Vee and even her lover, Kiddwaya.

She bares her mind, no matter whose ox is gored.

Emotionally, Erica does not bottle up her feelings. She cries openly when she is let down, and celebrates when she has to. Unlike the average African woman, none of her emotions is subdued or shrouded in anyway.

She expresses her love and the levels of her feelings at anytime to fellow housemates and speaks freely about her relationship with her mother, boyfriend, Kidd, Laycon and even her 2nd option, Eric, had Kiddwaya not been in the House.

She even opened up about only recently finding her father for the first time; a family situation that few people would openly acknowledge.

When Big Brother gave her a warning for rudeness, she tendered an immediate and reserved apology, displaying a lot of undoubtedly genuine remorse.

Erica commands respect and when she does not get it, she demands it from everyone and anyone. She has been seen insisting on Kiddwaya giving her the respect she desires and expects. She once demanded the same from Wathoni, a fellow female housemate whom she felt had something against her.

When she felt like a sex toy to Kiddwaya, she invited his friends within the house to complain openly that she needed more than sex as it was getting boring. She “wants more” out of the relationship and Kidd is reluctant to give it to her.

Winning appears to be one of Erica’s many attributes. During house games, she goes all out and does not give up till the end. When she discovered Kiddwaya, she went for him head-on unlike Wathoni who nursed the same feelings for Kidd secretly but was too shy to make the move.

Erica’s doggedness has earned her the Head of House position a few times unlike some housemates who have not got even one chance.

Who indeed is Erica ?

Erica was born on the 13th of March, 1994 to Eric Christian Nlewedim and mother, Oby Nwokolo. Her father hails from Abia State, Nigeria but she was born and bred in Lagos by her single mother.

In an emotion laden speech with fellow housemates, she told the story of how she loves her mother’s doggedness in raising her and sending her to the best schools in the country. This according to her, is in spite of their very lean resources.

Her mother was so protective that she made oversized clothes for her so she can be saved from sexual harassments.

Erica made an art tribute to her mother whom she said was so strict that they were always at loggerheads. However, she says she is willing to make up for all her mother’s sacrifice and troubles and would begin by giving her a vacation to a foreign beach resort.
