Dr Abiola Makinde, a member of the House of Representatives, has called on individuals he alleged are distracting President Bola Tinubu‘s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila to allow him focus.
Makinde said in a statement released on Monday, that the detractors are diverting the attention of the former Speaker of the House of Representatives.
The federal lawmaker urged these individuals to cease their efforts and allow the former lawmaker to focus on his duties as the Chief of Staff to the President.
Makinde, who represents Ondo East/West in the green chamber of the National Assembly, noted that Gbajabiamila is highly deserving of his role as the Chief of Staff to the President.
He further highlighted Gbajabiamila’s extensive experience in serving the country for over two decades, which serves as a testament to his unwavering dedication and commitment to the Nigerian project. As the Chairman of the House Committee on Human Rights, Makinde, who served under Gbajabiamila in the ninth assembly, attests to his humility and exceptional leadership qualities.
