The widow of the former General Overseer of the Foursquare Gospel Church Nigeria, Rev Yinka Badejo is dead.
Her husband, Rev Wilson Badejo earlier died on the 7th of August, 2021 after an illness, making it barely 3 months.
Mrs Badejo is said to have died on Friday, 12th of November, 2021 at the age of 72 from a yet to be disclosed illness.
A source told Church Times that, “Her husband was concerned about her health before he died, Ironically, her husband was not sick before he died. It was Mrs Badejo that had been ill.”
No official statement has been released by the church on the passing of Mrs Badejo. Reports say it might be due to annual convention currently going on.
In another news, the wife of the Founder of the Fountain of Life Bible Church, Pastor Nomthi Rosemary Odukoya died last week.
Her husband, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya confirmed the death on his Instagram page, saying she died of cancer.
According to pastortaiwo With deep regret and gratitude to God, I have to announce the passing of my wife, Pastor Nomthi Odukoya.
She battled cancer for the better part of two years, she stood on the Word of God, and she fought.
She gave me 11 beautiful years of marriage and two wonderful boys, who I know will be very significant in life.
I loved her with all my heart, but who am I to fight with the will of God.
