APC chieftain, Femi Fani-Kayode revealed today that the wife of the head of Niger Military Junta, General Abdourahman Tiani, is a Nigerian.
He made the revelation when he made a tweet urging ECOWAS to intervene in Niger Republic without using Nigerian troops.
Sani-Kayode used the occasion to give insights about the head of the military junta there. Fani-Kayode stressed their role in establishing the current government, emphasizing their vested interest in its success.
While discouraging military invasion, he warned that no amount of propaganda could alter the fact. He cautioned against the risk of a widespread conflict involving not only Niger Republic but also Mali, Burkina Faso, and Wagner.
The expressed concern that such a conflict might lead to internal division along ethnic, regional, and religious lines in Nigeria and urged the President to prevent this outcome.
Furthermore, he noted, “The wife of General Abdourahman Tiani, head of the military junta in Niger, is a Nigerian from Kangiwa, Kebbi State. The Emir of Dosso in Niger Republic acknowledges the Emir of Argungu in Nigeria.”
Femi Fani-Kayode stressed the strong connections between the two countries, with many families in the core Northern region having relatives in Niger Republic.
