The Personal Assistant to late Herbert Wigwe, former CEO of Access Bank, has recounted an early morning incident in Germany when Wigwe asked him to bring a charger for him.
In a video shared on YouTube by Channels TV, Faleye said upon entering Wigwe’s room, he was struck by the intensity in his boss’s eyes.
He said the encounter left him scared however later in the day, he gathered the courage to express his concern and Wigwe explained that those moments were when he reflected on his plans and strategies. He concluded by describing Wigwe as a great man.
In Faleye’s words: “I went to [Wigwe’s] room around 4 a.m. and what I saw scared me, I saw his eyeballs so deep not like an ordinary human and I gave him the charger and I went back.
“In the afternoon I asked him, sir, I was afraid when I saw you that morning and he said those are the times when he reflects on what to do. He was a great man, his dreams are scattered everywhere germinating and growing”
