Unconfirmed reports say that the Former Rivers State Governor and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory on Friday, collapsed during a meeting in Abuja.
The report added that the incident resulted in a partial stroke, and he was urgently rushed to a hospital for medical treatment.

The situation unfolded dramatically at the Abuja meeting when Wike suddenly collapsed and he was first taken to the State House Clinic.
Medical experts are said to have warned that his condition may be irreversible, indicating that he might never regain full mobility. In light of the seriousness of the situation, he was rapidly transported to a hospital in France for advanced care.

However, when newsmen contacted, Lere Olayinka, the Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, debunked the reports insisting that his principal neither collapsed nor hospitalized.
He simply responded that the news is “fake.”
