Reactions have continued to trail the peace agreement signed by the former governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike and the incumbent governor, Siminalayi Fubara.
The agreement was reached following the intervention of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the ongoing crisis in Rivers State.
The document surfaced online after president Bola Ahmed Tinubu held a crucial meeting with Wike, Fubara, Peter Odili and some stakeholders from the state.
The document was shared by Tolu Ogunlesi, an All Progressive Congress Chieftain and was confirmed by the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.
Reactions continue to trail the directives in the agreement. Some believe the intervention by the president was timely and in order, others see it as lopsided in favor of Nyesom Wike while some others see it as a smart move by the APC to fully take over Rivers State politics and structure.
