Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has revealed what what he did with the moneies that the Rivers State earned from the oil wells he recovered are.
The former Governor made the disclosure when he addressed a gathering at the Thanksgiving ceremony for the just-past Commissioner for Works in Rivers State, George Kelly Alabo, at the Kings’ Assembly in Port Harcourt.
According to Wike, during his term as governor of Rivers State, he fought with so many states to regain oil wells, stating that today, the money that comes from those recovered wells is not in his pocket.
In a video posted by Channels Television, the former governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, said, “In fact, it was during my term; I fought so many states to win back our oil wells; the money that comes from those oil wells today is not in my pocket”.
