Willie Obiano’s Wife Jets Out to Get Covid19 Vaccine in the US (video)

Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano, wife of Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano has travelled to the United States to get the Covid19 vaccine.

The lucky First Lady of Anambra State is privileged to take the Moderna doze just like a number of other high profile Nigerians.

Moderna vaccine is very similar to the Pfizer Bio-NTech and one of the very first vaccines proven to be effective in the prevention of the coronavirus.

Incidentally, Mrs Obiano says she works with Pfizer so she is speaking from an insider point of view.

After a verbal profiling of her health status and confirming her appointment through a bar code, the nurse gave Mrs Obiano the jab on her right arm after which she was instructed to wait 15 minutes to see if she gets any adverse reaction.

the First Lady said that in a situation where she develops an adverse reaction, there is an ambulance to her for the needed medical attention.

She then went on to advise Nigerians, through a video broadcast that it is important they take the vaccine to save them from what she likened to a war situation.

According to the 59-year-old wife of the Anambra State Governor, “When there is a war, you will not because of the bullet catching you and stop and refuse to go to war. You have to go, you have to fight, you have to survive.

“This is a war, we have to take the vaccine because we must survive. God bless the whole world.

“Coronavirus is real, coronavirus is killing people. We have to take the vaccine. The vaccine will save us. With God’s help, by his grace, it will save us.

“It (the vaccine) will not harm us in any way or manner. God is on the throne. He’s in charge of everything. including medicine.

“God will see us through. I advise people to take this vaccine. It took us a lot of effort, it took my daughter, Doctor Gechi Obiano a lot of effort to get me put on this vaccine.

“Thankfully, I’m able to get it.”

She described the rigorous procedure to get in to the clinic where the vaccine was administered.

the First Lady displayed a bar-code that granted her access to the clinic. Notwithstanding, she was not allowed to step out of her car or wind down her car window glass.

Mrs Obiano prayed that God sees everyone through the pandemic. Unfortunately, she is unable to ascertain when the vaccine will finally get to Anambra State.

She also confirmed that “there is nothing like vaccine in Nigeria” yet.

According to her, “it is even very scarce here in the United States. We’ve been trying to get one for my husband, it has proved abortive.”

Since he has not been given a vaccination slot in the US, it is hoped that the Governor will, like most heads of governments across the world, take the vaccine at home in full public glare.
