A Pastor of Winners Chapel also known as Living Faith Church Worldwide (LFCWW) claims he was sacked for not generating enough income for the church.
The Pastor who identified himself as Pastor Peter Godwin said in a video that has gone viral that he was sacked alongside 40 others for the same reason and their inability to grown their respective parishes located in Ekiti State.
There are indications that the number of clerics sacked may be higher nationwide.
Pastor Godwin said he received a letter dated 25th of June and signed by the Executive Secretary of the Church, Adebisi Aboluwade that they are expected to vacate their official accommodations and hand over their respective ID cards to their respective area pastors.

However, a source within the church told The Punch that “the sacking of the pastors had nothing to do with money; rather it involved church membership growth.
“As indicated in the letter, pastors were sacked for failing to grow membership, which is a key aspect of the ministry.
“It had nothing to do with money and nowhere in any of the letters of disengagement was it stated that it was about money,” te source said.
