Popular Afrobeats star, Ayodeji Balogun, better known as Wizkid was in Church today with his sisters, children, dad and the mother of his sons for the Thanksgiving of their mother’s funeral.
The singer’s mother, Juliana Dolapo Balogun, died on August 18, 2023.
The famous Afrobeats superstar and his sisters held a night of tributes in honour of the deceased, which took place on Thursday at the Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, and Casino, 6-8 Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The mother of the singer was thereafter buried after a funeral service at the RCCG City of David Church Road, Dideolu Estate, off, Ligali Ayorinde Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, with high-profile persons, including clergymen, gathered at the church.
Following the successful burial activities and reception, the singer and his family were in church for the Thanksgiving service.
