A woman who attempted to murder a relative for mocking her son has been arrested and released on bail.
Mrs Blessing Odion Amayanevbo is reported to have taken bottles to the shop of her relative, Mrs Joy Osagie Amayanevo after the latter mocked her son for failing to pass his JAMB exams to be admitted into the university.
Blessing allegedly stabbed her with broken bottles leaving her bleeding profusely from gaping deep cuts.
The victim’s daughter said that her mother would have been killed if police officers were not on hand to intervene and rush her to the hospital.

“Mrs blessing Odion Amayanevbo attempted to murder Mrs joy Amayanevbo over the issue that her son hasn’t been accepted to the university, That Mrs joy Amayanevbo son is helping his dad in his working place God’s favour Amayanevbo.
“Mrs joy went to confront her peacefully in her shop while she ruined insult on the innocent woman Mrs joy Amayanevbo which is the wife of Mr Osagie Amayanevbo the eldest of the family, she fought with the young daughter for asking her questions on why she should insult her mom for telling her to discuss any issue abt her children with her instead of telling them, after the quarrel on Monday afternoon which her husband Mr Odion osagie and Mr Osagie Amayanevbo settled she drove very early in the morning to the shop of Mrs joy Osagie Amayanevbo to attempt murder.
“She brought bottles from her house down to the innocent womans shop to murder her…if not for the police men who were arround that quickly caught her as she was about to escape and resuce the woman in the picture with pull of blood Mrs Osagie Amayanevbo to the hospital and took Mrs Odion Amayanevbo to the police station at estate gate Airport road
