Oprah Returns, to Host “The Oprah Conversation,” A new Talk Show

World famous talk show host, Oprah Winfrey is set to return to what she knows best as she premiers her new talk show, “The Oprah Conversation.”

Information on her official twitter handle on the night of the 27th of July describes the new program as “the interview series aimed at having conversations that unite us – not divide us.”

It will feature discussions with newsmakers and thought leaders on trending topics and current events. The show that will air on the Apple TV + series also aims to begin by addressing issues of racism in the United States.

In her announcement on the microblogging website,

Oprah Winfrey @Oprah said
“It’s time to bring humanity back to the conversation. Tune in to my new show #TheOprahConversation, where I’ll be joined by fascinating guests to have conversations that unite us—not divide us.”

The 1st episode debuts on Thursday, July 30 with the title ‘How to Be Antiracist.’  Oprah will be joined on that episode by bestselling author, Prof Ibram X Kendi to speak with white Americans about confronting and dealing with their own racism.

Kendi has authored a book that addressed the very same topic, the contents of which have received popular acclaim. It offers deep insights on systemic and societal racism with proposals on systemic changes.

The Oprah Conversation will also feature Emmanuel Acho, an athlete and activist. Acho, only recently began hosting the web series, ‘Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man.’

Oprah hit the world by storm in the mid 80s with the ‘Oprah Winfrey Show.’ The daytime talkshow aired from 1986 to 2011. She later went on to Jost the ‘SuperSoul Sundays’ and the ‘SuperSoulConversations’ podcast.

She is a philanthropist, a television producer and media executive. She returns to her over 40 million followers to discuss issues they are most passionate about.
