An aide to the Bayesal State Governor, Kokobaiye Abeki and youth leader in Ogobiri community in Rivers State has reported the case of a yahoo boy who attempted to behead his girlfriend for money rituals.
He said that the suspect was caught while attempting to behead the victim along SETRACO Road in the Amassoma/Ogobiri area, today, 21st of September.
The lucky girl is a student of the Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island. She was rescued by a combined force of youths of the community and police operatives.
Quoting Miss Sapele Jessica Freedom, an eyewitness, Abeki reports that, “A female student of the prestigious Niger Delta University Wilberforce Island, NDU was pitied by her chi as all attempt by her lover boy who is devilishly identified as a Yahoo guy to behead her failed.
“Reports had it that the girl in the photo was rescued by youths of Ogobiri community and the Nigeria police force as the guy identified to be a Yahoo boy who lured her with money and dated her and wanted to use her for rituals alongside the Setraco Road along Ogobiri-Toruebeni drive .
“After he succeeded in roping her hands and legs , he was at the verge of cutting her neck when the savour of her nightmare (Ogobiri Youths) who traced his earlier movement throu a revelation from a nearby person caught him together with the efforts of the men of the Operation Doo-Akpo NPF special squad .
“The Yahoo boy has since been handed over to the Nigeria Police for onward investigation.Please my dear Bayelsa Girls, let us try and reduce the level of visiting and accepting Yahoo guys who can promise you heaven and Earth but at the end everything VANITY.Source: Miss Sapele Jessica Freedom a live witness at the scene.“
