Kazim Adeoti, husband of Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has responded to the allegations brought against him by his first wife Funsho Adeoti saying she forced Mercy on him.
In a social media post on Sunday, Funsho had given Kazim and Mercy 12hrs to take down some pictures and videos Mercy had posted on social media.
The pictures and videos featurd Mercy in the home previously shared by Funsho and Kazim before he married the Nollywood actress.
The US based fashion designer suggested that she contributed a huge amount of money to build the house.
Unfortunately, Mercy defied the warning by taking more pictures and videos and posting them on social media.
In his response to his wife’s claims of spending a large sum of her own income to build the house, Kazim stated via Instagram that he built the house himself and Funsho was simply angry because he decided to get married again.
He maintained that she left him with no choice and forced him to take a second wife when she relocated permanently to the United States adding that he has done everything possible to make peace with her and also be in their children’s lives.

“I have read many things that have been written about me and my family. Many of which are fabricated lies and some directly from my first wife (which understandably is angry I married a second wife).
“In as much as there is nothing bad in husband and wife building house together, in my case, we did not. I built the house by myself.
“When I was furnishing the house, she bought some furnishing materials and part of the money I have refunded. My second wife had added some furnishing to the house as well.
“It is not in my character to speak ill of people who were once friends, not to talk of my first wife (who is still my wife as we speak). I will not speak ill of her for the sake of good and bad times we shared and the good kids that God gave us.”
