A young man who abandoned his over N1 million job to relocate to the United Kingdom (UK) for greener pastures has shared why he regrets his decision.

The man identified as Collins Owusu Sarfo told STV News in an interview that while he was in Ghana, he worked in a company that paid him between Ghc16,000 (1,076,255) and Ghc20,000 (N1,345,319) per month.

Sarfo stated that his perception of the UK is different from what he experienced when he landed the very sought after European company.

According to him, he planned to save £2,000 (N1,110,452) so he could move back to Ghana but he has been unsuccessful in spite of the fact that he has remained consistently very hardworking.

He disclosed that his first job when he got to the UK, was car washing before he became a dishwasher.

The young man added that he has been able to establish an oil and gas company, healthcare and clothing line after his Ghanaian girlfriend ditched him.
