Confirming the tragic incident, Singleton said that Osilalu went missing on the 17th of September. and over 5 weeks later on the 28th of October, she received a call from “Baltimore City Homicide Detectives telling me that they found my husband’s skeletal remains behind a vacant house on Paton Avenue in Baltimore City on October 4th 2021.

It took them a while to identify him due to severe decomposition.

The young wife and mother laments that even if finding her husband’s remains brings some element of relief and a semblance of closure, it was a situation she was not prepared for.

She has initiated a GoFundMe to be able to cover the funeral expenses while waiting for justice to be served him.

According to her, “Chief Medical Examiner’s office is giving me 3 days to plan his funeral and have his remains sent to the funeral home.

I am asking for the public’s help with funeral expenses as this was a sudden tragedy that my family was not prepared for.

Please help me lay my husband to rest so my family and I can have some type of closure after all of this chaos.

We are still working diligently for justice to be served.

“Please continue signing and sharing the petition I created for him on www.change.org.

“We appreciate any donation that can be provided.

Thank you in advance. God bless you all.”

The young woman added that her husband worked as a private contractor driver under Sedan Service in Baltimore and that she reported him missing on September 19, 2 days after his last known ride.

She said she made an official report of his disappearance on the 27th of September and that 2 days later, the police found his car.

It was pulled over but Faruq was not behind the wheels. Instead, an unidentified driver and a passenger were found inside.

Baltimore County Police say they were arrested and interrogated about late Faruqs whereabouts. Police say they were later released because there wasn’t enough evidence to charge them.
