A group of Nigerians Youths in support of the emergence of the former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi as president of Nigeria has taken their solidarity and campaign to an unusual arena.
They stopped the music at a night club to display his campaign poster and slogan and then called on everyone to get their PVCs.
The former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, dumped the Peoples Democratic Party just before the primary election to become the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
Obi will battle former Vice President Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other candidates for Nigeria’s presidency.
His supporters, comprising mostly youths, have started campaigning for him in the strangest of ways, ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Many have volunteered to help the public with electronic registration while others leave his posters as their DP across social media platforms.
Olaudah Equiano, via Twitter, said they shut down the music in a nightclub he attended to advertise Peter Obi.
According to Olaudah Equiano® @RealOlaudah “So, they had to shut down music in a night club to advertise Peter Obi. Nigeria has never seen it like this before. ApC and PDP cannot eat what Nigerian youths are cooking for them. Go and get your PVC if you haven’t already.“
