Presidential candidate and Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, on Friday, put his marriage crisis aside to weigh in on the burning of a female Christian student, Miss Deborah Samuel, of the Shehu Shagari College of Education in Sokoto State.
Deborah was lynched and burnt alive on Thursday by some Muslim colleagues who accused her of blaspheming Prophet Muhammad.
The students filmed the tragic act and then posted it on social media.
Reacting to the barbaric actions of the students, Yul Edochie, called for the immediate probe of the gruesome killings.
He explained that God is powerful enough to fight his battles by himself.
He wrote on Twitter: “I condemn the killing of Deborah. The perpetrators MUST be brought to justice.
“God who created all humans and the earth is powerful enough to fight his battles.
“Yes I want to be President, whether you vote for me or not, my ambition will never stop me from speaking the truth.”
